✔ Phantom traffic is when traffic jams happen for no obvious reason, like an accident or construction. It happens when one driver brakes suddenly, and this causes a chain reaction that creates a congestion. I have experienced phantom traffic many times on the highway, and it is very frustrating. One solution is to keep a safe distance between cars and drive more smoothly. Traffic causes many problems like wasted time, more pollution, and stress for drivers. We should estimate our travel time carefully and consider taking public transportation.
