1. Classification of Pronouns

We have learned that pronouns may be classified as follows:

Chúng ta đã học rằng đại từ có thể được phân loại như sau:

• (1) Personal pronouns — I, you, he, she, it, we, they, etc.
  (1) Đại từ nhân xưng — I, you, he, she, it, we, they, v.v.
• (2) Compound personal pronouns — myself, yourself, himself, etc.
  (2) Đại từ nhân xưng ghép — myself, yourself, himself, v.v.
• (3) Interrogative pronouns — who, which, what.
  (3) Đại từ nghi vấn — who, which, what.
• (4) Adjective pronouns — each, either, neither, few, many, etc.
  (4) Đại từ tính từ — each, either, neither, few, many, v.v.
• (5) Relative pronouns — who, which, that.
  (5) Đại từ quan hệ — who, which, that.
• (6) Indefinite pronouns — whoever, whichever, whatever.
  (6) Đại từ bất định — whoever, whichever, whatever.

Study again Lessons V, XXXIX-XLIII, XLVIII, LXXVI, LXXVIII, and then be prepared to explain each class of pronoun, and to tell the various uses of each class. Illustrate each point with an original sentence or with one that you yourself have found in some book.
