Here are some more abbreviations. What does each one stand for, and where will you see them?

1. PTO  (you see it at the bottom of a page)
2. IMO  (also in emails and text messages)
3. RSVP  (which is French for ‘ please reply’, you see it on letters of invitation, which means they want a reply to the invitation)
4. DOB  (on forms)
5. asap  (in emails and text messages)
6. PS  (It is used at the end of a letter (after you have signed your name) to add extra information, or something you have forgotten to say in the letter.)
