Over to you
Answer the questions. If possible, ask a friend and write their answers.
- Where were you brought up?
- What do you particularly remember about your childhood?
- Were your parents strict? What weren’t you allowed to do when you were a child?
- How late were you allowed to stay out when you were a teenager?
Possible Answer
- I was brought up in a town called Dartmouth.
- It’s on the coast and I remember going to the beach a lot with my family and friends.
- My mum was quite strict, but not my dad. They didn’t let me swim in certain places because they thought it was dangerous.
- Up to the age of 17, I had to be home on the last bus, which was about 11: 15. When I learnt to drive, I stayed out later than that.
