Paul Bunyan’s Dinner

Paul Bunyan had arms the size of tree trunks. His chest was as big as a house. For dinner, he liked to eat a hundred hamburgers. He drank fifty buckets of milk.
One day, the river flooded. “Help! Help!” cried the people of the town.
Paul heard them. He picked up the whole town and moved it to the top of a mountain.
The people were happy. They wanted to cook Paul dinner to thank him. They cooked and cooked. They put twenty tables together on the grass. They covered the tables with food.
When Paul walked up, the tables were so heavy with food that they broke. “That’s okay,” Paul said. He sat on the ground and picked up a hamburger. “We’ll just have a big picnic on the grass!”
