Prince Peter’s Peas

Prince Peter did not like to eat his peas. He always threw them on the floor. “Please, Peter,” the Queen begged. “Eat your peas because they will keep you healthy.” “Eat your peas, son,” the King said. “I am tired of stepping on them.” The King tried to hide peas in mashed potatoes. Prince Peter found them. He spit out the peas, one by one. The Queen hid peas in a stew. Prince Peter picked out the peas and put them in a potted plant. “What will we do?” the King and Queen asked. Then, the Queen had an idea. She put peas in a blender. She put in milk and ice cream in the blender, too. Then, she mixed it all up. “A green milkshake?” said Prince Peter. He tasted it. “That is good!” He drank the whole thing. The Queen and King looked at each other and smiled.
