Sharks

What fish can only swim forward? It is the same fish you want to watch out for in the ocean. It is a shark!

Sharks have been around since the age of dinosaurs. They live in oceans, and they even live in some rivers and lakes.

Sharks can be small, the size of your hand. They can be big, the size of a bus. Some sharks have 3,000 teeth. When one tooth is lost, they grow another one.

Sharks can only swim forward. Some of them have to keep swimming so they can breathe. Most sharks do not attack people, but some may think you are food and try to bite you.
