Bison

Long ago, the bison gave Native Americans food. It gave them clothes, and it gave
them houses. They loved this animal.
Native Americans hunted bison, and they ate the
meat. They used its hide for clothing. They also
made its hide into tents.
The Native Americans did a dance for the bison.
They put on clothes to look like the bison. They
wanted to bring the bison to their camps.
Then the bison began to die. Now, we are
trying to save them. We help them to live on the
prairie. They are doing well!
