Space Travel

Do you want to travel into space? People want to know what is beyond Earth. They want to see the moon, and they want to see stars. They also want to see Mars!

In July of 1969, the first man walked on the moon. His name was Neil Armstrong. He put a flag on the moon. He said, “That’s one small step for man; one giant leap for mankind.”

Chimps have traveled into space, too. Dogs and mice and frogs have traveled there. Even insects like ants, spiders, and bees have gone.

Now, we make space shuttles. They can take many people into space. Maybe someday, you will travel to space!
