Jumping Jellyfish

Chad was a clam. One day he was taking a nap. He then opened one of his eyes. Do you know what he saw? He saw Jerry jumping outside his window. Jerry was a jellyfish.

“I wonder why Jerry Jellyfish is jumping,” he said. “I had better jump too.”

So Chad Clam went outside and started to jump.

Sammy was a Sea Star. He was finding things to eat when he saw Chad Clam and Jerry Jellyfish jumping.

“I wonder why they are jumping,” Sammy Sea Star said to himself. “If Jerry Jellyfish and Chad Clam are jumping, I want to jump too.”

Just then Sara Shark saw Jerry Jellyfish, Chad Clam, and Sammy Sea Star jumping. Sara Shark didn’t know why they were jumping, but she just thought that she should join them. So Sara Shark jumped and jumped.

Wilber was swimming by, looking something to do. Wilbur was a great, big whale. He stopped by to say “hello” to all his friends.

“Hello, everybody! Why is everybody jumping?” said Wilber Whale
“I don’t know,” Sara Shark said. “Ask Jerry Jellyfish. He was jumping first.”
“Jerry!” yelled Wilber. “Why are you and everybody else jumping?”
“Why are they jumping? I don’t know. I am jumping to get my exercise!”
