Sam Walks on the Moon

Sam loved to read books about space. He loved to look out at the moon at night. He loved to write stories about men in space. Sam drew pictures of the moon and space ships.

He knew about astronauts. Astronauts studied the stars. They studied space. They went there in space shuttles.

Sam went to bed. He was dreaming about space. He sat up in his bed. He looked all around.

He was not in his bed. He was wearing a white suit. He had a funny round hat on his head. He had gloves on his hands. He was wearing big boots on his feet.

“Hello,” said Neil Armstrong. “Do you want to take a walk with me on the moon?”

“Yes!” said Sam. And he did.
