George W. Bush

George W. Bush was the 43rd president of the United States.

He was born on July 6, 1946. His family moved to Texas after he was born. He went to college, and he met Laura. She was a teacher at a school. She worked in a library. He wanted to ask her to be his wife, and she said, “Yes.” They have two girls. Their names are Jenna and Barbara. They are grown up.

When he was president, George lived in the White House. His wife lived there, too. He and Laura had two dogs. One was Barney, and the other was Miss Beazley. They also had one cat. His name was Willie.

George likes to go to his ranch in Texas. He likes to cook for the people who work for him. He knows all their names. George likes to take walks on his ranch or ride in his truck. He likes to spend time with Laura.

It is a hard job to be the president. There are many things to do. There are many choices to make every day.
