Ship Or Sheep (Unit 40: j (yellow))
The sound /j/ is used in rapid spoken English to link other sounds. The sound lj/ links words ending in /iː/ or /ɪ/, e.g. she, he, I, we, my, boy, say, they, when the next word, begins with a vowel.
