Get Involved with Animal Friends

Animal Friends is a non-profit organization working for the care and adoption of homeless dogs and cats. We provide shelter and medical treatment for every animal until it is adopted, and we are funded entirely through donations and the help of our business partners. If you want to help, or simply to learn more about us, please come to one of our upcoming events.

Sunday, June 20: Dog Photo Shoot

Pete's Mobile Pet Grooming and Platinum Photography are generously donating their services all afternoon at the Central Dog Park. Have your beloved pet professionally groomed AND get a beautiful portrait taken with him or her for just $30. All proceeds go to Animal Friends.

Saturday, June 26: Volunteer Open House

Would you like to volunteer with animals? Need more information? Join us for our free Volunteer Open House at our downtown location, 415 2^nd Avenue North from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. It's a wonderful opportunity to get to know our dedicated staff, learn about volunteer opportunities, and meet some adoptable animals! (Since space is limited, please e-mail us at volunteers@animalfriends.org as soon as possible if you plan to come.)

Friday, July 2: 8th Annual Furry Friday

Time for our yearly black-tie fundraising dinner! For just $50 per plate, enjoy delicious Italian food at the Valley Hotel's Main Ballroom and help needy animals at the same time. Dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m.
