Notice to all Backridge City Residents

Backridge City Council is pleased to announce that the contract for repairs of several of our city roads was approved at last night's city council meeting. The successful bidder was A-One Construction Company. Construction is scheduled to commence on November 8th and will last approximately one and a half weeks. All roads east of Portobello Road fall inside the construction zone. Repairs will include filling in potholes, repairing cracks, and repaving severely damaged surfaces. In a few locations, minor sidewalk repairs will also be undertaken. Parking is prohibited on any of the affected roadways from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. during construction. Any vehicles left parked on these roads during the designated hours will be ticketed and towed at the owner's expense. Fines will be levied at twice the normal rate. City council members apologize for the inconvenience.
