Inside Dinosaur World at the Natural History Museum
People of all ages are fascinated with dinosaurs. Now, for the first time outside of a movie theater, you can experience how these mysterious animals actually looked, moved, and sounded. Opening this Saturday at the Colewood Natural History Museum, an exciting new traveling exhibit features amazingly real-looking robotic dinosaurs. Scientific experts have worked closely with engineers and artists to create Dinosaur World, which is located in a 1,300-square-meter tent on the museum lawn. In the interactive exhibit, you can learn about prehistoric life while getting a close look at all your favorites-including the terrifying Tyrannosaurus rex. Museum president Stephen Moreau calls it "the closest you can get to living dinosaurs."
Visitors seem to agree. Although Dinosaur World does not open to the public until Saturday, the museum offered a preview on Thursday to some members of the press and selected guests. Ten-year-old Diana Stefanek and her father, Kevin Stefanek, gave the exhibit a rave review. "It's so realistic," said Diana. "Better than the movies."
The exhibit will be in Colewood from July 10 to August 15, when it will continue on its ten-city national tour. Visitors must pay an additional fee on top of general admission in order to view the exhibit. For more information, go to naturalhistorynow.org.

Hi, Sandra and Aaron.
I found something I'd like to do before our return flight tonight. There's a dinosaur exhibit at the Natural History Museum that looks like a lot of fun, and apparently it's really popular. Here's a link to the article I read. The museum is conveniently close to my last sales call. If we all finish our last calls by around 3 p.m., then we'll probably have enough time to check it out and still make our 7:00 flight. We'll have to buy a basic museum ticket plus an extra fee, but it's probably not that much. Anyway, I plan to go, and you both are more than welcome to join me. Just let me know.
Best,
Joe
