Melapin Symphony

Beginning in May, the Melapin Symphony will play and livestream a monthly special concert in a program called “Share the Music”. The program has been made possible by a grant from the Okafor Foundation, an organization dedicated to increasing access to music. ______ 135 ______ Share the Music is mainly intended for people with mobility issues, but it will be open to all members of the public.

The concerts will be viewable for free through a page on the symphony’s Web site, www.melapinsymphony.com, ______ 136 ______ they take place. ______ 137 ______ visitors may be required to create and log in through a member account in order to access the page.

I recently received your letter in which you described the poor condition of the pavement on your street and the flat tyre you suffered ______ 139 ______ the uneven paving slabs. As you pointed out in your letter, the roads and pavements in your neighbourhood have been in desperate need of repair for quite some time. ______ 140 ______

Beginning on 18 May, work crews will remove and reinstall all paving slabs on Bowfield Street and several other streets in the area. They will also fix the potholes in the roads that many motorists complained about at the community meeting in March.
